Introduction

These are the terms and conditions of use for www.pattonhouse.co.uk (Website). Please read them carefully before placing you order.

The Website is operated by, or on behalf of, Patton House Limited (we, us, our).

Our company details are:
Patton House Limited

Registered office: 4 Burntwood Grange Road, London SW18 3JX

Company registration number: 12972543

By visiting our site and/or buying something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions set out below and any additional terms and conditions and policies we make reference to or link to. We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time by changing them on the Website and without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

Our handmade products

Our products are made by people and not machines. Small imperfections or differences in shape, size and colour are part of the charm of a handmade product. This is a feature of the handmade process and is considered a feature and not a fault. We cannot accept any responsibility for these variations.

This applies to our fabrics and our wood. Our fabrics are made from natural products and may have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the yarns which are not weaving faults and therefore not considered faults by us.

Our wooden products are all handcrafted in high quality teak. It is possible that there may be slight differences in grain patterns, colour, knots and joint lines and these are considered features, not faults. Please note the following points which may affect your product: changes in atmospheric temperature and humidity may make drawer movement a little stiff; direct sunlight will cause the colour of our wooden products to change, even if it is painted; sharp objects coming into contact with the wood can cause damage.

PLACING AN ORDER

By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

A contract between you and Patton House for the sale and delivery of our goods will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you. Your credit/debit card/PayPal account will be debited when your order is placed. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this by email and will not charge you for the product.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. You confirm that the payment method which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of any products and delivery. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit or debit card details from your card issuer before providing you with any products.

All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel any orders at any time before they are dispatched. In these cases we will inform you as soon as we can, advise the reason and issue a full refund.

You will be informed during the checkout process of the shipping charge, unless we are unable to automatically calculate it. If this happens, we will inform you of the cost via email or telephone and await your approval before we proceed with the order. We reserve the right to update any shipping charges, although you will be asked to confirm via email if any changes occur before you are billed.

We cannot be held responsible for items that are damaged due to the result of normal wear and tear.

Your refund will be issued via the original method of payment. If your original payment card has expired, please provide us with your new card’s expiry date only. Please do not send any other card details.
